WHAT IS CLAY COMMONS?

Clay Commons was created as a space for people to discover their artistic potential. We have two Port Hope locations ready to welcome the community.

We offer art classes of all kinds, hand-building, paint a piece, stained glass workshops, private events, date nights and more!

ABOUT US

Hi! Welcome! We’re Amanda and Nicki, founders of Clay Commons. We met at a local annual music festival in 2021 and began playing with clay together. We decided we wanted to create a space where we could help share our love of clay and foster creativity and community in the town we love so much. We are looking forward to getting to know you all!

Amanda was the owner and operator of Mud Makers Studio, which started in Toronto and relocated to Port Hope in 2020. She is an educator and artist with a background in fine arts and special education. Amanda also completed art programming at Dr. Hawkins and Trinity College School (TCS). She is passionate about sharing her love of ceramics and art by empowering others to explore their creativity.

  • NICKI WINTERS
